We have a wealth of design experience gained over 25 years working in the industry, our team understands engineering structures and what makes them work. We have an enormous library of design ideas to draw upon to help achieve your architectural aspirations, and are knowledgeable on issues such as how best to form the envelope around the oak frame, including air tightness and thermal performance issues. Where a structure is exposed to the weather we will assist in achieving the best longevity and durability to ensure that the performance of the building is as good as it can be.
Three of our projects have won the Gold Wood Award, two have made it to the short list of the Stirling Prize, and one of our projects won the Institute of Structural Engineers Supreme Award for engineering excellence. Bearing in mind that in the 25 years that this award has been available only 5 structures have earned such recognition this is quite an accolade.
Several other of our projects have won RIBA regional awards as well as a host of other smaller awards.
We also offer CPD training to engineering and architectural practices and have a number of presentations that might interest you.
