This multi-span bridge was a local millennium project enabling walkers to access open country across the river. We designed the bridge to cleverly conceal the pairs of steel I beams that support the deck (at least we like to think so!). The paired hand rail posts clasp two rails that pass above and below the steel I beams, and are tightened onto it with folding wedges.
