The splendid reconstruction of this imposing entrance was carried out in fresh sawn Oak and Greenheart with lime render infill panels.
FSC (Forestry Stewardship Council) Greenheart was sourced to scarf new feet onto the existing Greenheart main posts of the entrance. The bargeboards were carved from dry joinery grade oak.
Traditional Lime render is a natural fungicide and insecticide and acts as a timber preservative, in addition the lime render panels are porous which assists in wicking water away from the panels edges improving longevity.
