Rooksnest is a complex of farm offices, stores and a fitness barn for a large estate. Here we see an ambulatory built integrally with the main barn in the form of a side aisle. (Image courtesy and copyright of Sutton Griffin Architects)
In this picture we see the use of direct glazed gable dormers and gabled elevations to bring light into the building at high level. Well detailed and executed these glazed areas will offer trouble free performance throughout the life of the building with minimal maintenance. Another example of a base cruck frame. In this example the crucks do not join at their apex, rather they joint to a collar with additional braces to form an attractive open truss. Note the cruck spurs or interrupted stub ties jointed to the top plates of the frame restraining the thrust of the roof. (Image courtesy and copyright of Sutton Griffin Architects)

“"Everyone is very impressed with the finished result and I thought I would just take the opportunity of belatedly giving my thanks to you and your team for a job very well done. I have submitted the bridge for a Civic Society award for next year and have every expectation of its success."
P White, Northholt & Greenford Countryside Park Manager
“"Thank you for the frame that you have just finished at Rogate. It was a miserable wet day, yesterday and John and team carried on regardless. We are delighted with the overall look and also the mouldings to the members. As usual, the frame was millimetre accurate and will be easy to take forward to complete the building."
Bob, Trembath Associates
“"Just to say that it looks fabulous, and all who survey it are wonder-struck. Best wishes and many thanks to you all."
Simon, National Trust
