Full Time / Permanent / 45 hrs a week

We are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Oak Frame Carpenter interested in an exciting opportunity to join an enthusiastic and growing team.
You will play a vital role in the fabrication and assembly of our bespoke timber frame structures, ensuring the highest standards of quality and craftsmanship are maintained.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble timber frame structures according to detailed plans and specifications.
- Use a variety of hand and power tools to cut, shape, and fit timber components.
- Read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
- Ensure all work meets company quality standards and adhere to safety regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve project goals and deadlines.
- Perform quality checks and make adjustments as necessary.
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in timber frame assembly, with a strong portfolio of complete projects.
- Excellent knowledge of timber properties and woodworking techniques.
- Proficiency in using and maintaining hand and power tools, including saws, chisels and drills.
- Understanding of technical drawings and ability to interpret necessary information.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Good physical stamina and the ability to work at height and in various weather conditions.
- Strong problem solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- A valid driver’s license is preferred.
- Must have the ability to stay away from home for short periods of time for on-site frame assembly.
