As Green Oak Carpentry approaches its 30th year, RHS Sandringham Flower Show offers an opportunity to reflect on the values that have shaped our work for nearly three decades: craftsmanship, collaboration and creating spaces that are built to be enjoyed for generations.
This year, we’re pleased to be partnering with Grillo Living as part of our presence at the show, bringing together traditional oak craftsmanship and contemporary outdoor living in a setting designed to inspire.
A Shared Approach to Outdoor Living

At RHS Sandringham, visitors will be able to explore a fully fitted Grillo Kitchen within our outdoor living showcase, complete with cabinetry, barbecue, drinks fridge, sink and seating area.
The Grillo team will be on hand throughout the show to demonstrate the kitchen and discuss how outdoor cooking can become an integral part of everyday garden life.

We’re also pleased to announce that Green Oak Carpentry is now a Silver Trade Partner for Grillo Living.
The partnership allows us to work more closely with clients looking to create complete outdoor living environments, combining bespoke oak-framed structures with beautifully designed outdoor kitchens. Celebrating 30 Years of Craftsmanship
RHS Sandringham marks an important moment for Green Oak Carpentry as we celebrate 30 years of designing and building bespoke oak-framed structures.
To mark the occasion, we have created a dedicated outdoor living space that brings together many of the elements our clients are looking for today: shelter, connection, craftsmanship and a seamless relationship between home and garden.
RHS Sandringham will also provide the backdrop for the launch of our refreshed brand identity, reflecting both our heritage and the next chapter of Green Oak Carpentry.
Alongside the Grillo Kitchen, visitors will discover our handcrafted pergola crafted specifically for the show, demonstrating how natural materials and considered design can transform the way a space is used throughout the year.
Our team will be available throughout the event to discuss ideas, materials and design possibilities, helping visitors explore what might be possible within their own gardens.
Visitors will also be able to take advantage of exclusive show offers available throughout the event, alongside a prize draw and limited-edition giveaways created to celebrate our 30th anniversary year.
Supporting ‘100 Sweet Summers’
Alongside our outdoor living showcase, we are proud to be supporting award-winning garden designer Kitti Kovacs and her RHS Sandringham show garden, 100 Sweet Summers.
At the heart of the garden sits a bespoke oak-framed cabin, handcrafted by our team using traditional timber framing techniques and responsibly sourced materials. Designed to celebrate memory, sustainability and the passing of time, the structure forms a central part of the garden’s story.
The cabin is brought to life through an installation of recycled glass bottles sourced from Hambledon Vineyard, creating a striking interplay of light, colour and reflection throughout the space.
The recycled bottles have been sourced with the support of Hambledon Vineyard, a valued Green Oak Carpentry client, helping bring another layer of craftsmanship, reuse and storytelling to the project.
Designed with longevity in mind, the cabin incorporates reclaimed and recycled materials throughout, including approximately 540 recycled Hambledon bottles. Following the show, the structure will be carefully relocated for long-term use, ensuring it continues its story long after RHS Sandringham has come to an end.
As Kitti explains:

Blending nostalgia with innovation, the garden invites visitors to celebrate simple pleasures, reconnect with meaningful memories and imagine how their own gardens can tell a story while embracing a more sustainable future.”
For us, the project represents many of the principles that have guided our work over the last three decades: respect for materials, traditional skills and creating structures that will continue to have purpose long after the show has ended.
